I'd describe my personality as friendly, outgoing and sensitive I like caring for seniors. They deserve the best life possible and I enjoy helping them have that. I'm looking for a job that is more companion oriented I started caring for seniors in 2009. I have cared for women and men who were ambulatory to wheelchair bound, bedridden. I work with only one client at a time. Having my client experience a level comfort and safety is very important but high on my list is finding a place that brings a smile or a laugh. I try to educate family members who often feel inexperienced at dealing with an elder's state of decline. I work well with hospice and my specialty is end of life care. Personally I enjoy family & friends, reading, movies, listening to music, walking, Pilates, yoga, organizing and cooking. I have a strong wholistic background in various modalities and trained as an EMT Skills include communicating, creating a safe environment and infinite patience.
