About Vanessa

I'd describe my personality as cheerful, optimistic and kind. I like caring for seniors because I understand first hand how important it is to have a compassionate and patient person care for your loved one. I care for my elderly father in my home for 5 years until he passed away and currently help care for my mother who has end stage Parkinson's and it's incredibly meaningful and gratifying to be there for someone during the last years of their life. I'm looking for a job that is meaningful and fulfilling. I started caring for seniors 40 years ago. I enjoying spending time with my daughter, family and friends. I love to take walks at the beach and dancing. I am very compassionate, kind, genuine and conscientious. I enjoy cooking, I am very clean and incredibly organized. I am incredibly knowledgeable regarding anything medical and have 40 years of experience working with the geriatric population. My skills include medical management, nutrition, mobility and safety.
