About Avonie

Hello, my name is Avonie and I have about 8 years of experience working with kids. I started working with kids when I was 17 years old. My first job was a camp counselor at my local recreational center. After that I worked at a military daycare for about 6 years and now I work as a dedicated aide for a child who is deaf with autism. Something I'm looking for in a job is flexible but reliable. I'd describe my personality as outgoing, passionate and observant. Things I like to do during my free time are dancing, taking long drives with nice scenery and watching. The reason why I like working with kids is because I love to see them grow and develop. Children go through so many different milestones and if you blink you may miss one lol. Through the process not only do children learn and grow, but we as adults grow as well. Being around these free spirited individuals will teach us that life is too short to be stressed over things that are out of your control. Enjoy the now!
