About Marlen

I like working with kids because kids are our future and the way they're treated at a young age is essential to the way they grow up. Kids deserve to feel safe with their caregiver and to enjoy their childhood with fun and laughs while still learning responsibilities :) I'm looking for a job that is long term. I met the first kid I ever babysat when I was 16 and they were 2 and 3. I watched them grow up and now they are 12 and 13 and grew up to be amazing kids. I started working with kids when I was 14 working The Gr818ers teaching dance and art. I still volunteer with them now 12 years later. In my spare time, I like to take my two dogs on hikes and having staycations at nice cottages in the area for quiet views. One thing you should know about me is I love doing silly colors with my hair. I've been dying my hair since I was a little girl and I think it helps me seem trusting to kids and it's just so fun to see their reactions when my hair is pink one day and green the next.
