About Autumn

I like working with kids because I believe that children are our future and deserve to have people who care enough to help them be able to do great things. I started working with kids when I was very young. I was always the go-to babysitter in my family and when I got of high school, I spent almost two years as a substitute teacher at a public school and now have worked nearly three years as an assistant teacher at a Montessori school. In my spare time, I like to do anything creative, especially reading, writing and drawing. My skills include having patience, being open and good at listening, and knowing when to have fun. While I have other applicable skills, I believe that these three skills are some of the more important ones when it comes to caring for children. They need to feel safe and cared for first and foremost.
