About Kayla

Hi! My name is Kayla and I am a creative, caring, patient, and energetic person who has 6+ years of diverse experience with kids ranging in ages from newborn to 12 years old. I am CPR certified and skilled in first aid and water safety. Some of the jobs that I have worked include babysitting, nannying, and daycare assistance working with various schools/academies. As an Education Major at Clark Atlanta University to become a preschool teacher, I definitely have a genuine passion for kids and love being around them! Completing my Practicum I with Atlanta Public Schools has also furthered this passion greatly from an academic standpoint. I believe that when caring for children it is important to be a friend to them when engaging in fun activities, but also know when to switch roles and be the responsible adult. Given my skills and personality, I will be able to connect with your child on a friendship level while still providing them with a supervised and stable environment! :)
