About Aurora

I have a Bachelor of Science degree from UNM in biology and psychology, and I graduated with a 4. 13 GPA. I tutored math and science full-time at CNM for three years, and I've been a private tutor for the past 7 years. My experience has allowed me to work with an extremely diverse student population, and I have successfully tutored students with ADHD, learning disabilities, and crippling math and test anxiety. My students compliment me extensively on my ability to explain things in a way that makes sense, my almost inexhaustible patience, and, most importantly, my ability to help them feel confident with what they are trying to learn. I work with middle school, high school, and college level/adult learners, and I can help students who are below, at, or above grade level. My ability to connect to individual student needs, bridge gaps in knowledge and encourage students makes math and science easier, more fun, and accessible to all.
