About Augustine

I have worked professionally as both a nanny and a public school educator. I have a BFA with a focus on arts education from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and completed my student teaching in a montessori setting, which has greatly influenced my approach to childcare. I previously worked as a nanny, caring for a 5-year-old and a 2-year-old. This experience was prior to acquiring my degree, and I continued to babysit throughout my education. After receiving my degree, and completing my student teaching, I spent 2 years working as an art instructor and floating childcare aid at an early childhood center. I am currently working as a public school teacher in CPS, but am looking to work more directly with families as either a nanny or babysitter. I lean towards creative and educational projects to pass the time. I also enjoy household management duties such as meal prep and laundry! Infants and small children are my favorites, but I love to work with children of all ages!
