About Audris

Hi! I'm settling into the Santa Fe/Taos area and hoping to find a family to work with and care for. My early experiences in childcare began over 10 years ago, where I lived as an au pair in France and taught English among general tutoring and household duties for a family with three kids. Onward, I studied Psychology and Early Childhood Development while working as a Youth Services Librarian. This job led me to my current efforts as a professional bookbinder. This work allows me the flexibility to continue to work with children and people in a meaningful way. I have always had several families that rely on me for their childcare, and have seen those kids grow to an age they don't need me anymore. It's important for me to have a strong foundation of trust with parents and their children, and provide a safe place for kids to express themselves and be creative and imaginative. I'm very reliable and can integrate myself seamlessly, and would love to find a family where it's a mutual fit.
