Hello! My name is Rachel and I am a lifelong Oklahoma resident, Sooner born and Sooner bred! Since my own childhood, I've had an aptitude and passion for childcare. My first job at 15 was for my Church daycare, caring for ages infant-5yrs old. I was a supervisor there for 7yrs, leaving with tons of experience and special bonds formed with families. Since then, I have been an Assistant Manager in the beauty industry for the past 6 1/2 yrs, gaining a background in management and communication skills. From 2019 to 2021, I was a Paraprofessional for the Deer Creek school district, caring for special needs kids ranging from mild/moderate to severe/profound needs. This job was SO fulfilling, but inadequate pay. I am incredibly excited to get back into childcare! I am passionate about encouraging education, creativity, and play. Rachel is a warm, caring and compassionate young woman. She has enjoyed a lifelong love of working and spending time with all ages of children. Kids are immediately comfortable around Rachel due to her accepting and relaxed manner; however, at the same time, Rachel guides them to willingly participate in the current activity. Rachel's sweet spirit and gentle leadership are enhanced by her wit and intelligence. She has a wonderful sense of humor and will be an asset to your organization.
