About Ashlyn

I have been working in child care for approximately five years. My first experience was full time nannying, from there I continued my child care journey after moving to the Midwest, I perused a associates in child development. I have been a classroom lead teacher with a year of special education. Before moving to Ark, I was a child care center director at St. Andrews Academy grove. Where I learned the ins and out of everything DHS and running a childcare facility. I will be continuing my education online, in child development not only to pursue further opportunities in the field, but to better be able to understand the mental, physical and mental developmental process kids go through. I am in the field I am because it gives me peace to know that if I can make one small difference or impact on a child's life, or help a family feel heard or get to resources it is giving them a sense of safety, they may never had before. Child Care is more than just a job it is a passion.
