About Ashley

I worked as a nanny in my own baby adult life (19). Last year I pivoted into foster care where I developed skills caring for children with high needs. I work at an art gallery. I am an artist of three mediums and incorporate creativity into my childcare. I'd describe my personality as creative, compassionate, patient. I like working with kids because they are the future. I also love teaching children how to use creativity as a coping strategy for life's challenges. I started working with kids when I was 12. It was the nineties so that was babysitting age. In my spare time, I like to rest. I'm an artist of three mediums so I work a lot outside of my jobs. One thing you should know about me is I provide rapport-based care. My skills include CPR, first aid, medication administration, safe crisis management, Narcan administration, Seizure management, creative mentoring.
