About Jordan

I love kids and have been babysitting regularly for over 10 years now. I worked for over a year at a licensed preschool, creating projects and plans for each day for my students. I have nannied full time for 3 kids of varying ages, helped a mother with her newborn twins, and worked in a weekly group childcare at a church. I love art and music, and I really care about encouraging children in their creativity. I'd describe my personality as goofy, enthusiastic, and kind. I like working with kids because I think that they are just really cool people. Children come up with the most interesting stories and games; as a writer and an artist, I feel inspired when I spend time with kids. I also think that children are often used to being ignored by teachers and other adults, so it's important to me that kids feel seen and heard when I'm around. When kids feel cared for, it helps them thrive and impact the world with their creativity and unique wisdom.
