About Ashley

I'd describe my personality as considerate, gentle, and patient! I like working with kids because watching them explore the world brings so much joy to my heart! Their curiosity to explore life and their own inner worlds is something so special to witness. I started working with kids when I was 13. I was the "family friend babysitter" for my parent's friends' babies during events and weekends! I was my baby sisters primary caregiver during the summer and after school during the school year. She was born in the summer after my 14th birthday. My mom worked two jobs and quickly went back to work after 6 weeks of maternity leave. In my spare time, I like to explore new baking recipes, local and non local parks, libraries, museums, yoga studios, take nature walks, practice mindfulness meditation, arts and crafts, read and write poetry, and take care of or play with animals/visit farms. My skills include patience, developmental skills, and creative crafts!
