About Ashley

Hello I am a childhood education student at Queens College, I have been babysitting since I was 12 years old. I come from a family of teachers, my mother is a teacher, my aunts and uncles are all teachers, so it was no surprise when I decided to study education as well. Professionally I have worked at an afterschool for 2 years while also working toward my bachelors in elementary education and studio art. I am certified through red cross for first aid and CPR on children and infants. I have also completed numerous hours of professional training through the childcare education institute to help promote development in young children while having a safe and fun environment. I have experienced with children from the ages 6 months and up and I feel very comfortable with all age ranges. Ashley is very respectful and has told me she has plenty of prior experience not only with other parents and their children, but with her younger siblings as well. She was very polite and made sure to keep in touch with us throughout the day if she had any questions or concern. If we need another sitter, we would definitely choose Ashley again.
