My grandma had dementia and required all of my attention, which made taking care of her a difficult task. I cared for her for two years before she passed away; she was wonderful, and she enjoyed being around others, though there were times when she forgot who I was-which was, of course, part of her illness. Nonetheless, I used to spend time with her by taking her to restaurants, on park strolls, and to see Spider-Man, her all-time favorite film.
