About Mary

I'd describe my personality as kind, caring, patient and dependable. Caring for seniors is important to help them live in their environments with as much independence as possible but safely. I'm interested in helping someone maintain dignity, independence, and providing companionship. I am currently retired from a corporate job and have the time to work with people now which I love. I started caring for seniors when my mother had dialysis, when we moved my aunt from Hawaii with dementia and currently my older sister who is diagnosed with Alzheimer's. I currently have 3 clients that range from 61 to 80+ and love my time with them. The time I spend varies on their needs and wants. Sometimes only an hour a week. I do light cleaning, organizing, medical appointments, phone calls, take them shopping, assist with computer skills and many other tasks as needed. I volunteer at Senior Center and work elections. This means I have been through two levels of Cori checks.
