I'd describe my personality as kind, dependable, & energetic. I like caring for seniors because they have the wisdom of a lifetime & have earned the right to be cared for in the most loving of ways. I'm looking for a job that allows me to feel like I'm making a truly positive difference in the life of others. I started caring for seniors when I graduated from nursing school with my LVN license. I worked in a nursing home for many years. Even after I completed my RN training and went to work elsewhere, I remained with this nursing home for many years as a per diem Nurse. In my spare time, I like to walk, hike, and swim in the ocean with my dog. One thing you should know about me is you can count on me to show up, not only on time and ready to work, but emotionally ready to offer the kindest and most effective care possible. My skills include all ADLs, nutrition, wound care, dementia & O2 care, vital signs, ROM, mental stimulation, clear communication & documentation & much more.
