About Shirley

I'd describe my personality as gentle, empathic, reliable I like caring for seniors because my family background and respect for elders I'm looking for a job that I can become a companion to elder you needs a friendship and/or a person to lean on for errands. I started caring for seniors when my mother became dependent on me for 24/7 care six years ago. She started with Assisted care and I cared for her with Nursing home tasks. In my spare time, I like to travel and spend time with family. One thing you should know about me is my family background allow me to be a great employee since we believe elders deserve to be respected and cared for with dignity as they become less independent as seniors. My skills include safety, experience with creating relationships for each individual's needs, and my desire to be a friend and listen.
