About Ariana

I've worked with children in public & charter schools, church and after school settings. I am currently part-time nanny, dog walker, and full time SAH mom! Before moving to WA, I was a substitute teacher in Imperial Beach, CA. Previously I was the site director for an expanded learning program, mentoring staff and supporting social, emotional, and academic development of kiddos grades K-8. I coordinated program activities such as Super Snack, Special Projects, spirit rallies, talent shows, Energize Up (PE & Zumba), and community events. As the site director, I trained staff and stepped in to help program leaders when children needed extra support. I've also worked as a program leader (class teacher) and day school teacher's aide. I value each kiddo's autonomy and believe that kids learn best through their own interests and play. In my personal time, I enjoy Bible study, lifting, singing worship, serving in church nursery, and spending time with my husband and our 2-year-old baby girl!
