About Ardell

I am a passionate and thorough writing tutor dedicated to empowering and helping others to find their voice. I truly love the writing process, and I work with people of all ages in all stages. We've all been in the position where the very thought of beginning an essay is daunting, we question the very ideas we have, or feel we have none at all as the looming deadline approaches. The writing process is intimidating, but it doesn't have to be! It is infinitely rewarding to see people walk away with anticipation to begin writing and confidence in their own ideas. I am most experienced in academic writing and application writing/personal statement; however, I have also assisted students with study abroad, internship, and research applications. I structure my sessions based on the individual students' needs, which may include research, brainstorming, drafting, and editing. I can work on a short-term or basis if you have a quick turnaround, but I prefer long-term reoccurring sessions.
