About Alexander

I have my master's degree in mathematics, with about 10 years of 1:1, group, and classroom experience teaching mathematics and chemistry. I believe that all kids are capable of learning mathematics as well as other academics, it just requires patience and thoughtfulness on the educators part to bridge the divide between struggling and excelling. I'd describe my personality as fun, empathetic, and hardworking I like tutoring because seeing the look of confusion turn to understanding as a smile crosses their face when they get it warms my heart. I'm looking for students who are eager to learn, or are at least willing to learn, as not having either makes the sessions incredibly difficult. I started tutoring when I was in high school helping underclassmen in chemistry. In my spare time, I like to read, write, and code. One thing you should know about me is that I will treat your child with the utmost respect. My skills include mathematics, patience, and adaptability.
