I'm hoping to find a family that needs a full-time long term nanny starting July 10th! I am 27 years old and currently work as a Pre-K teacher at a daycare center. As much as I love teaching children in the classroom, I would rather teach children the same criteria in their own environment. For example, instead of having a child sit a desk to learn math I would rather incorporate it into their play. For instance, asking them to count the number cars they are playing with or asking them to count the number of trees on our walk to the park. I have 4+ years of experience with children of various ages (1-12 y. o), more recently I have been working with children 3 months - 5 years at the daycare center. I have a Child Development Associates and about to be CPR certified again. I reside in Denver with my girlfriend and 5-month-old son.
