About Annika

I am creative, adaptable, and patient I get along with kids well and enjoy finding ways to keep them entertained. Understanding children has always been natural to me, and I enjoy offering help when I can. I'm looking for a job that has reasonable hours and pay, and a commute that isn't too far. I would like a job with a fairly consistent and organized schedule, but I am willing to work with special dates given a notice in advance. I started working with kids by sitting younger family members and neighbors at 15. Last summer I sat 4 kids for about 8 hours a day. I've also given drum and piano lessons here and there. In my spare time, I like to play musical instruments, hang out with friends, read books, and go for bike rides. One thing you should know about me is I can be playful with children, but I know when it's time to focus on tasks like doing homework or cleaning up after playtime. My skills include communication, organization, patience, and compassion.
