About Anna

As a current elementary school teacher with a strong academic background and extensive experience, I am passionate about helping kids learn and grow, especially in language development. I hold a Master's degree in human rights law from SOAS University of London and hold a BA in History and African Studies from St. Lawrence University, which has deepened my understanding of effective teaching methods and cross-cultural communication. I've worked as a Teacher's Assistant, supporting students in reading, writing, and communication, and now, as a teacher, I design lessons tailored to each student's unique needs. Being comfortable in Spanish, Swahili, and Arabic allows me to teach language skills and connect with children from diverse backgrounds. My goal is always to build confidence and make learning an engaging, positive experience for every child.
