About Hanna

Hello! My name is Hanna and I am fully licensed English Language Arts teacher who has experience teaching both middle and high school ELA. I have a true passion for education and value the connections I have built with my students. Regarding my own education, I have a bachelor's degree from the University of New Hampshire and my master's degree from Merrimack College. My strengths as an educator lie in high school curriculum, AP literature, and college essay writing! I always strive to help students reach their fullest potential, create a sense of ownership in their work, and ignite a joy for reading and writing. I also place emphasis on social emotional learning in my classroom and am currently raising and training a Labrador Retriever puppy, Tucker, as a therapy dog that works in my classroom alongside me!
