About Anna

Hello! My name is Anna and I am a trained teacher with over 10 years of experience in the field. For the last 8 years, I have worked at the Sylvan Learning Center as a lead teacher, and Director of Education. I have a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies and have completed student teaching in a Multiple Subject teaching credential program at Cal Poly Pomona. With my experience, I have become well-equipped to provide children with the academic and emotional support they need. The extensive experience through tutoring and my education, has made me a resource for children and family looking for support beyond the classroom. I am trained to follow/construct lesson plans, which I implement in nannying/babysitting by incorporating age appropriate activities/homework hel, and more than comfortable with speaking to parents and other educators about progress and needs. I have a deep passion for connecting positively with children through my education background, and my love for helping others.
