About Anna

I am a sophomore at Roanoke College in Salem, VA. I have lived in Harrisonburg since 2009, graduating from Harrisonburg High School. I am majoring in Biology, and am active in Lutheran Campus ministry, as well as my sorority, Alpha Sigma Alpha. I have extensive experience working with kids, from both my work as a swim instructor as well as babysitting. I was a Junior Coach for Westover Waves Swim Team for three years, working with children aged 4-8. After moving to school, I quickly found a position as a swim instructor at a local recreation center where I teach all levels and ages. As a Biology major, I love teaching any level of science from elementary to high school, especially biology and environmental science. I also have lots of experience with reading and writing and can help with grammar and composition as well as Reading and English ACT prep.
