About Anna

I have been an ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher since 2006. I taught English to elementary-level children in Korea and Turkey. I worked with ESL middle- and high-school students locally for School District 11. In the 2012-13 school year I worked with D-11's Adult and Family Education program, teaching ESL to refugees and non-native English speakers working toward GED mastery and citizenship. I love encouraging others toward their personal and educational goals. In all my work experiences, I helped my department achieve its goals and successes. Co-workers and supervisors describe me as a success-oriented team player with the students' success, confidence, and excellence as my ultimate goals.
