My name is Angela and I have been in childcare for 20+ years! I have a very happy and outgoing personality and love caring for children of all ages and abilities! I have experience in newborns through teens and thoroughly enjoy caring for, nurturing, teaching, and helping kids learn and grow! Skills: 1.) Newborn Care-sleep training, stimulating play 2.) Infant- Sleep training and language development (sign language) 3.) Toddler- Potty training, Sign language 4.) Preschool Age- Sign Language, learning to write and hold a pencil correctly, early reading (sight words), arts and crafts 5.) Homeschool experience 6.) Outside play is great for creative play, Vitamin D, and fresh air 7.) Experience working with hearing impaired children Currently, I am only available on Tuesdays and Thursdays as a SUBSTITUTE (fill-in) nanny/babysitter to families when their regular nanny/sitter is unavailable.

I have had the pleasure of knowing and working with Angela since 2017. She was originally referred to me by a good friend, as I needed care during the day for my 5 month old and 3 year old at the time. The referral comments that I received were that Angela was the most patient and kind person she knew. That is definitely how I would describe Angela. She definitely has a kind and friendly demeanor that helped with my kids transition early on. She truly cares for my kids and honours who they are as growing and learning little people. I know they are always in good hands with her. Not only is she caring and patient, she is very organized and ensures everyone is safe and that their needs are met. I love that she schedules activities and routines throughout the day to keep everyone safe, happy, and engaged! She even incorporated a little bit of sign language and fun learning as able when my kids were younger. I especially love that “outdoor time” is a big part of each day as the weather cooperates. She communicates very well on the days events and makes sure to let me know if anything else needs to be discussed. She is very respectful in honouring any unique needs or requests that I have had regarding my kids over the years, which always makes me feel great. I love her heart and care and always feel 100% comfortable leaving my kids with her for the day.
