I've worked in many different settings and multiple roles in the healthcare field, including leading activities, volunteering, facility care, home care, and hospice care. I am a cna with special training in dementia and Alzheimer's care. I am comfortable and confident in using many types of adaptive equipment such as, hoyer lifts, sit-to-stands, pivot discs and transfer boards, oxygen concentrators, catheters, and much more. I have a great appreciation for the holistic approach in home-care. Safety and hygiene are hugely important, but in my practice I have found the necessity for one's autonomy and dignity within their home just as salient. Your loved one's happiness and sense of self, no matter what condition physically or mentally they are battling, is essential to nurture. Anesthesia is BETTER than a 10 out of 10. Anesthesia was a caregiver for my Mom and stepfather for the past 4+ years. She always gave her heart and soul whenever she was at their home. She would give my Mom spa-type treatments, from foot massages, to nail care to making my Mom feel beautiful and well-loved every time. Both my Mom and stepfather had to receive Hospice treatment at the end of their lives, and Anesthesia was the leader in ensuring safety and care with new additions of a hoyer lift, bed sore care, and so much more. She brought a wonderful positive attitude each time she was at the house and made my folks feel loved and well cared for every step of the way. I can not recommend her highly enough.
