Hi I'm Amy and I'm a full-time Montessori preschool teacher looking to babysit in my spare time. I started my teaching career at a preschool in Marin County, California. I absolutely loved this job and quickly fell in love with early childhood education. Through education courses at St. Mary's College of California, I learned about the methods of Montessori and became interested in this beautiful philosophy. In July of 2020, I started my training through Prepared Montessorian to become a Toddler Lead guide. I became a Lead Guide in January 2021. I love to maintain positivity when engaging with children. I focus on encouraging and acknowledging kindness, safety, and respect. In my free time, I love yoga, learning new songs on the ukulele, and reading.
