About Amy

I have over seven years of experience working as a Theatre Arts teacher in NYC, with a special emphasis on decoding and activating Shakespeare and classical texts, as well as composition of new work such as plays, short stories, and essays. With both Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival and Emit Theatre, I've taught students of all ages, including dual language speakers and neurodiverse students. I pride myself on being a patient and kind educator, and strive to create a fun environment where my students learn not only about a particular subject, but about themselves as humans, too. I am passionate about teaching learners of all ages how to clearly, concisely and eloquently express themselves be it in writing, in performance, ou en fran ais!
