About Amy

Over 20 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, I am trained in medication administration, diabetic care, G-tubes, and other medical devices. I am also a NYS Certified EMT with experience working on 911 calls, and I have served as a temporary foster parent for a newborn with Larson's syndrome. Additionally, I supervised, trained staff, and assisted in managing a respite home for children ranging from 6 months to 24 years of age. I believe in open communication with parents and will provide regular updates about your child's day or address any concerns through your preferred communication method. I follow household rules as set by parents and can assist with meal prep, light housekeeping, carpooling, travel, and crafts. I am certified in First Aid and CPR, and I have my own car for transportation. I look forward to meeting your family and creating a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment for your child!
