About Amy

I've always had a love babies/children, and raised my daughter as a sole parent after we lost her father - he died when she was a baby. I believe in reading, age-appropriate learning activities, getting outside as much as possible, going for walks, and did I mention reading? As a parent, I have experience, wisdom, common sense, compassion, and most of all, the understanding that your child is -everything- to you, and that you want the best. I get that, as my daughter is my world, is my everything. I would follow the lead of the parents in terms of philosophy. I'm easygoing and calm, but active, and will show up every day with a can-do and happy/positive attitude. I've been a volunteer coach for 15+ years for children of all ages and, as a result, have to be CPR/First Aid certified, as well as AED certified and have appropriate concussion protocol training. I'm fully vaccinated and a life long non-smoker. I'm looking forward to my next chapter and hope it starts with you!
