About Amber

I have a bachelor's degree from The Ohio State University in English Literature and recently obtained my Master's in Labor Relations and Human Resources. I'd describe my personality as bubbly, engaging, and caring. I like tutoring because I love to see a student get it. I like to see that magic moment when something clicks and they gain new knowledge. I'm looking for a job where I can help students succeed and find a love (or at least appreciation) for reading, English, and literature. In college, part of my scholarship program was to teach science experiments in schools in the local area. Additionally, I assistant taught dance classes at my studio in high school, and was the de facto tutor for family members in all subjects. In my spare time, I like to read, explore new restaurants, and travel when I can! One thing you should know about me is that I am passionate about helping others. My skills include listening, patience, and clear communication.
