About Amanda

Hi there! Thanks for stopping by - I'm excited you're here! My name is Amanda and I'm a PhD candidate in school psychology. Before I moved to the city for school, I spent my whole life in Rhode Island, where I worked with kiddos from the time I was one myself! While I was in high school, I took independent coursework in early childhood education and special education as I completed applied fieldwork in my private elementary school. When I got to college, I immediately knew I wanted to major in education so I could continue my work! After getting my BA in Education Studies and Child Development, I got my MA in Learning Disability Studies. Now, I'm in my fourth year of my doctoral studies!
