My name is Alyssa, I am a 32-year-old English teacher/administrator from Burlington and have been tutoring students in grades K-12 (and adults) for over 10 years. I am bilingual in Spanish and English, with English being my first language. I have a very authentic approach to language learning that will encompass genuine interactivity and ultimately, reading fluency for all learner! I have thorough experience with all ages, all levels, and have a large passion for education and helping my students to reach their highest potential. I also have extensive experience accommodating students with IEP's and other learning disabilities.

I have seen Alyssa do amazing work over the past couple of years, both with my son and her other students. She is extremely knowledgeable, and has a very impactful and positive influence on the kids. Her passion to help people of all ages to learn Spanish and other subjects is inspiring, and anyone who hires her should feel very lucky. She goes above and beyond to assess and support individual academic needs for each student, and will always be on time. I highly recommend her, as a teacher and a tutor!
