About Erin

Hello there! I am a MA-licensed 3rd grade teacher with 10 years of experience in education, as well as a Master's of Arts in Teaching. In addition, I am Orton-Gillingham certified for elementary reading intervention. I can bring my expertise as an elementary school teacher to tutor your student in phonics, reading, elementary math, and writing. I also have significant experience working with students with special needs, including developmental delay, dyslexia, ADHD, etc. I am very kind, patient, and have numerous teaching strategies to help students learn and retain important literacy and math skills. I have a certificate in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages), as well as experience teaching English at the university level abroad, so I am also available to tutor older students or adults in English.
