About Alysa

Hi! My name is Alysa and I have worked as a nanny/long-term babysitter off and on for over 15 years. I have experience with children of all ages. I am new to this app, but I have worked for three families in Bloomington (and can provide references upon request). I think I do a good job of helping kids express their emotions healthily. I'm a big advocate for conscious parenting techniques. I can help with weaning babies, sleep training, routines for preschoolers and school-age kids, reading, Spanish, and other academics. I enjoy imaginative play, crafts, cooking, and going on walks or other outdoors adventures with the kids I care for. Despite some dents, my car is a safe and reliable vehicle, and I would be happy to take your kids to the park, library, pool, etc. In the short term, my schedule is wide-open. I unfortunately can't commit to a whole summer as I'm trying to find a full-time job in my professional field. Thanks for reading and for considering me to take care of your kids!
