About Althea

I'm an experienced, private in-home, CPR certified caregiver, NC licensed Med Tech. I've worked with patients in and around Guilford and Forsyth County. I've formed excellent client-family references, which are available upon your request. Over the past 20 plus years, I've offered my clients companionship through conversation, walks, watching tv, accompanying them on appointments, or simply by just sharing a meal. I've gained their trust by offering help with their daily activities, assisting with feeding, bathing, dressing and grooming. I've administered meds, performed light housekeeping, monitored diets, assisted with getting in and out of bed, manually or with Hoyer lift. I've worked with seniors suffering with Alzheimer's, Dementia, Mental Illness, Parkinson's Disease, MS, COPD, Bipolar Disorder, seniors recovering from stroke, heart attack, suffering from seizures, and experiencing signs of Sundown Syndrome. I'm available around the clock, seven days a week, including holidays.
