About Allysandra

Hi! I have a bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education and 15+ years of experience working with children. I believe in constructivist theories for teaching and learning, practice gentle parenting techniques and have been described as a nurturing caregiver. I started working with infants in 2008, and I fell in love with caring for children. I also have experience as a Preschool teacher, private nanny and was Founder and former Director of a Child Development Center. I have a 2-year-old daughter and love spending my days with her. Last year, I provided part-time, in home care for one child, the same age as my daughter. I am currently looking for part-time work with a family that is comfortable with me bringing my daughter along. There are times she could stay with my husband. I have a fairly open, flexible schedule. I have reliable transportation and enjoy taking children on outings to the park, library, zoo, open gym play time, etc. I can provide a list of references, upon request.
