Hi! Thanks for clicking over to me. I'm Allison, a recent grad at Hamline University. I earned my BA in Legal Studies, and a minor in Professional Writing and Rhetoric. I intend on going to law school next. I am also certified in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (also from Hamline University), so if your student is struggling with some aspects of English I will happily help! I have tutored geometry and early algebra before, and can confidently do so. I have also tutored in English Language Arts, my strong suit, and really enjoyed it. I can help with interpretation, retention, and writing (re: college applications??). I can tutor in history, and provide strategies to help students memorize / apply skills to retaining history knowledge. I scored a 31 on the ACT, with a 35 in Reading. While I don't have an entire curriculum memorized, I would be happy to share strategies with your students to aim high and score on scholarships!
