About Allison

I attended The Ohio State University in which I received a Bachelors in Primary Education (Pre K-5th Grade) with a minor in Developmental Psychology. I have been an elementary school teacher for 3 years and have experience teaching all subject areas. Most of my experience is teaching grades 4-5 but I also student taught in 2nd grade. I am currently a 5th grade teacher in Hilliard City Schools. My passion for working with kids is rooted in the fact that adore their creativity and imaginations. As a teacher, nothing inspires me more than seeing a child have a "aha moment!" and seeing that lightbulb go off. I love that every day, my students keep me on my toes and they teach me as I teach them! Every child is unique and brings something special to the environment and I enjoy fostering a space where we can all grow and learn together.
