About Alissa
Hi there! I was a substitute teacher in the CDA school district for a couple of years, primarily doing long term subbing for K-12. I have an extensive education with degrees in Natural Science & Mathematics, English, and Psychology. I no longer teach and instead work a full time remote job with a lot of flexibility, and I'm looking to tutor as a way to reconnect with education and working with students because I miss it! I can provide tutoring on all things English and composition from essay writing to spelling tests, reading, and even dabbling into math, science, and psychology.
