About Shellee

I worked for a school district in Spokane, Washington that tutored children who were unable to attend school due to health circumstances that didn't allow them to attend a regular classroom. I took classroom work to the kids and taught them when they didn't see their actual classroom teacher. I kept records of their progress and them at the end of my time with them I gave those records to their teachers. I did this until the program was discontinued to to district wide budget cuts. I also had my own tutoring service called Shellee's Light Home-based Tutoring Service, where children came to my home. There I worked with the areas the kids struggled with at school. I had the business in Spokane as well as in Castle Rock, Colorado. Also in Colorado, I tutored eight Korean children some basic English skills and helped them to improve in their reading classes. My expertise is in Reading. I am a certified teacher with the emphasis in reading.
