About Alison

I have been working with seniors since 1999. First through Hope Network, with TBI (traumatic brain injury) patients, I taught yoga for seniors, and have been doing home health care, companion care, and elderly household assisting. I cook, feed, meal plan, bathe, help with basic household tasks, & medication management. Some of my experience has been in hospice as nurse support, as well as companion care where we garden, play games, or crafts... & everything in between! I can coordinate doctor appointments & attend the appointments with them as a second set of eyes and ears (and take notes for you!), transport, grocery shop, help with toileting and bathing... I am happy to do anything around the house that I'm able to help with. My most recent experiences have been hospice care with a lovely 102-year-old woman who lived mostly independently until the end, & a mobility-challenged 82-year-old who lived in a skilled care center.
