About Alicia
Experience: 8 yrs
I am a certified elementary teacher and Spanish teacher and have experience teaching Spanish to kindergarten through eighth grade. I taught Spanish full-time for the School District for 6 years and loved it, but now I am primarily a stay-at-home mom. I learned Spanish as my second language, and studied in Costa Rica and received my master's degree in Spain. I have also volunteered with children for an extended amount of time in Ecuador and Peru. I love to teach interactive lessons that include music and movement! Lessons are very immersive in the language. I have taught hour-long lessons to small groups of children in our home and in students' homes. Please let me know if you're interested in individual or group lessons!

Alicia has a fun and positive approach to teaching Spanish. She engages the kids through songs and creative games, which my kids (7 and 8) love!
