Nurturing is deeply embedded in my nature and I feel blessed with opportunities to nourish the development of children~ I've spent the last 10+ years nannying, with an extensive range of experience from newborns to teens. I also have two younger siblings that I helped my single mom care for growing up as well as volunteering at the boys and girls club for two years in high school, tutoring children, mentoring at many sports/ surf summer camps, & volunteering as a driver for safe rides~ providing safe rides for kids. I am a UC San Diego graduate with a degree in Psychology that focused on child development. I played soccer there as well. I take a very conscious and empathetic approach to child development. I am a playful, energetic, peaceful, clean, and respectful person.

Alexis babysat our 2.5 year old son weekly for about 3 months. Our son loved her, and I would definitely hire her again. She was in tune with his needs and was fun, nurturing and also provided him with independence when desired. She was on time and reliable.
