I've had the privilege of working with children in various capacities during the last 20 years, from nannying to volunteering at community events to working as a kids face painter. In my early 20s, I cared for two wonderful boys (ages 3 and 6) in Brooklyn for two years, providing daily support like transportation, activities, and playtime. While living on Maui (5 years), I have provided families with ongoing childcare mostly through personal reccos as I am new to care. com. More recently, I volunteered at the War Memorial after the Lahaina fires and have continued supporting affected families through outreach programs with Hui No'eau Visual Art Center. I manage art activity booths at events, keeping kids engaged for hours. I am also a professional face painter for children's events, trusted to create a fun and safe environment for kids. This role, along with private babysitting, has strengthened my connection with children and their families.
